Fish Tacos

Ingredients:

8 corn tortillas
1 Tbsp. Olive oil
1 lb. fresh white fish (Favorites include mahi, ono, halibut)
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
1 lime
1 cup shredded cabbage
Salsa
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 avocado
1 bunch cilantro, chopped

Directions:

  • Combine pepper, garlic salt and chili flakes. Rub mixture over fresh fish
  • Heat oil in a medium skillet. Add fish and cook over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes on each side or until fish is cooked through.
  • Heat tortillas in microwave for 1 to 2 minutes or heat tortilla in medium skillet
  • Place fish on 1 warm tortilla. Top with generous amount of cabbage and tomato. Squeeze 1 slice of lime to each taco. Add about 2-3 slices of avocado to each tortilla. Top with salsa and cilantro.
Yields 8 tacos
