1 pound flank steak
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt or garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 cup uncooked quinoa
4 cups broccoli, chopped
1 Tablespoon braggs amino acid
Directions:
- Combine pepper, cumin, garlic salt and red pepper in small bowl
- Rub spice mixture over steak
- Place steak on grill and cook until desired degree of doneness
- Meanwhile combine 1 cup quinoa with 2 cups water in rice cooker.
- Bring about 3 cups of water to a boil. Add Broccoli and quickly blanch for about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain broccoli. In a medium size bowl, combine broccoli and braggs. Toss to coat.
Yield: 4 servings
Serving size: 3 ounces steak, 1 cup cooked quinoa, 1 cup broccoli
